What the Process Check is and what it is not

What the Process Check is

The Process Check is a paid hour online about one recurring workflow in your business. You pick a slot and pay CHF 99 through Stripe. Once the payment clears, you get the appointment by email with a Microsoft Teams link. You leave with a written automation case and an estimate of which fixed-price package (Small through Max) would fit a build, should you want one later. It is not an intro call, a workshop or a tool pitch.

What you leave with after 60 minutes

One hour, online, one workflow. The Process Check looks at work your team still does by hand on a regular basis. Invoices moving from the inbox into the accounting tool. A weekly report glued together from CRM, a spreadsheet and a PDF. Quotes where the follow-up sits with one person. Excel as the link between two systems that do not talk to each other.

You leave with a case. The case is that work in writing: what exactly it is, who does it today, how often it comes up, where it starts and where it stops. Alongside it comes an estimate of which fixed-price package would fit that scope, if you later want it built.

After the call you get a short written summary that you can pass on internally. Nobody else has to have been on the call.

Sometimes the result is that this workflow is not worth automating. You hear that during the hour. It does not turn into a project proposal just so that something «with AI» can be said to have happened.

The same offer, in shorter form, is on the Process Check page.

How the hour runs

You show us on screen, or simply tell us, how the work runs today: where the data comes from, who does what and how often. We mark where automation can take over and what stays manual. Before we hang up, you hear a price range for a build. It also goes into the written summary.

The hour is paid because it works on your actual work, so there is no intro call with a slide at the end.

What to bring

Bring a task that repeats, or one concrete workflow: a report, an export, a handful of invoices. The hour works best if the person who does that work today is on the call. Management often knows how much time is lost, but the clicks are known by whoever makes them every week.

You do not have to show customer data. Describing the process is enough. An example with blacked-out fields or made-up numbers helps when the workflow otherwise stays too abstract. You do not need to send anything in advance.

Why only one workflow

Put five topics on the table in one hour and you leave with five half-finished sentences. The check stays with one workflow: a clear start, a clear end, a rhythm you can name. One-off work, or work that is reinvented every time, is a poor fit, and you do not need 60 minutes with us for that.

Who the Process Check is for

Owners, ops, finance or office leads in a Swiss SME, often with 5 to 80 people and little or no in-house IT. You decide yourself, or with one other person. The check fits when manual work eats time every week and you want to know which single workflow is worth doing first, before a licence, a workshop or a project.

Workflows that often fit: five exports glued into Excel every Monday. Invoices from the inbox into the ERP, the same steps each time. A weekly report from three sources. Workflows that fit badly: calming down a difficult customer (a conversation, different every time), or «we want to be more digital» with no repeating task.

If ChatGPT is already open in a tab but the Monday report is still assembled by hand, you are closer to the check than to a tool demo.

Typical readers

  • An owner or director who still copies and exports themselves
  • Finance or ops with recurring invoices or reports
  • A team without in-house developers that wants a fixed-price entry point

Who should look elsewhere

  • Validating a product idea or scoping an MVP
  • Marketing copy and images with AI
  • A large company with an AI department and an RFP

Who should skip the check

You do not need a Process Check if you cannot name a recurring task yet. You also do not need it when the goal is team training on rules and approved tools. That is the AI in business workshop, a different format from an hour on one workflow.

Engineering teams that want agents in the repository fit the agentic coding workshop better. Several linked workflows, or AI inside your own product without a clear first step, fit AI implementation consulting. For one office workflow, the Process Check stays the small entry point.

If you only want a rough cost picture without a concrete workflow, a general cost article may be enough. The check pays off when you want to walk through one recurring process and leave with a written case.

How you get an appointment

Three steps, in this order:

  1. You pick an open slot.
  2. You pay through Stripe.
  3. Confirmation arrives by email, with the Microsoft Teams link.

The appointment counts only once payment has gone through. Without payment the slot stays free. There is no intro call that replaces the check, and no appointment on hold.

Book the Process Check

What the check costs

The Process Check costs CHF 99, once, for the hour.

If you later book a build package, the check fee is credited in full toward that package. It does not come as an extra invoice on top. It becomes part of the package price.

Money back only if both of these are true: the call took place, and the hour did not produce a tangible automation case. If the call did not take place, the refund does not apply.

If the hour does produce a case and you still do not want a build, that is fine. The refund depends on a missing case, and a decision against implementation does not trigger it. The amount you paid then stays the check price until you book a package and the credit applies.

After the check, fixed-price packages are available for the build, should you want one. Guide prices, and what running costs look like once the workflow is live, are on the offer page, because the check first settles whether any scope fits, and which one.

What the Process Check is not

The check is not a workshop. A workshop is for teams that need shared rules and approved tools. You come to the check with a workflow, not for a training day.

It is not tool training either. There is no subscription to sell in the hour and no prompt pack.

The time does not go into a studio pitch. There is no slide deck about us and no product sale on the call.

If you want to validate a product idea or cut an MVP, the Process Check is the wrong format. It is not built for that.

After the hour you do not have to have anything built. The build is optional.

Choose a time

If you have a recurring workflow and want a case plus a package size in 60 minutes, pick a slot, pay and wait for the Teams link.
